Vacation Bible School 2011 For children ages 6 - 18 Dates for next year's Camp Highroad Vacation Bible School will be posted as soon as they are available. This year, Fairfields United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School was held at Afton United Methodist Church in Ophelia, Virginia - just a few miles down Hack's Neck Road from Fairfields UMC. It was conducted by Camp Highroad, a Christian Adventure Camp located in Northern Virginia, which sent a special team of counselors to set up a mini-Camp Highroad right here in the Northern Neck! Campers were involved in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities including camp games, crafts, water games, music & singing, and Bible study. There was no charge for Vacation Bible School.
Afton/Fairfields 2008 Vacation Bible School BEACH PARTY was a huge success.
"Surfing Through the Scriptures" For several years now we have had Vacation Bible School (VBS) as a combined activity with our sister congregation, Afton United Methodist. This year was no exception. We averaged approximately 20 children in attendance each day. The Vacation Bible School was held in the Activities Building at Fairfields United Methodist Church in Burgess.
